2. What information we collect

This website does not have a sign-up or contact form, and we do not ask you to create an account.

If you email us at hello@yatransit.co.uk, we will receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything else you choose to put in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running.

3. How and why we use your information

• To reply to your email and deal with your enquiry, including from potential investors or partners. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us.
• To keep a record of our correspondence in case you or we need to refer to it later. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running our business.
• To keep this website secure and working, through the basic server logs described above. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.

We will not add you to a mailing list, we will not sell your personal information, and we will not use it for purposes unrelated to YA Transit.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this website and our email:

• Website hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which hosts this website and keeps basic server logs.

These providers only process your information on our instructions, or as described in their own privacy notices. We may also share information if required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where this happens, we will make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another approved mechanism. 6. How long we keep it

This website does not currently use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and our fonts are hosted on our own site rather than loaded from third parties. If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If you have concerns about how we use your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
